Wanna Wife Swap?

While I take on an occasional reality TV show from time-to-time (The Amazing Race, ANTM), there’s one that I’ve never caught on to, and likely never will: ABC’s ‘Wife Swap’. Maybe it’s just the idea, or the concept- or the name- but whatever the reason, the show just sounds too stupid for me, and at the end of the day, I think about shows like that ask: what’s the point?

So it comes with some dread and a bit of reservation to tell you this: ‘Wife Swap’ is looking for a new family for their show. The catch? They’re looking for The Ultimate Horror-loving Family!!! That’s right, if you and your entire family loves going to the theater to watch horror flicks, hitting up conventions, collecting horror memorabilia, writing/ making horror films, celebrating Halloween all year long, etc.. – then they want YOU to be on the show.

Criteria? That you and your family are bona fide Horror Fans, and that your household consists of two parents, and at least one kid (age 6-17) that lives at home. Is that you? You think you’re up to be a Reality TV star? Click HERE for info on how to apply.

Seeing how mainstream America thinks those that love horror are demented individuals, I’m guessing the wife the horror loving family gets swapped with loves musical, or is in the church choir, or somewhere COMPLETELY OPPOSITE than loving horror. Which then means that the show will likely depict the horror family as a bunch of freaks for all the losers who actually watch this trash to laugh at. So user beware, if you plan on applying… but if you do apply, and you get on- let us know! We’ll most definitely check it out!

Here’s a wife that they would NEVER swap with on the show… no matter how much you ask!
