Warner Bros registers four domains for DC Comics movies including Aquaman

To date, we only know for sure that 2016 will see the release of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE and 2018 will be the debut of JUSTICE LEAGUE. We know Warner Bros has plans for the DC Cinematic Universe for years to come, but what those specific titles are is still a mystery. While Dwayne Johnson has all but confirmed he will be starring in a SHAZAM movie, we are left with best guesses for the other movies.

Flickering Myth has discovered that Warner Bros has registered four domain names for feature film projects which may give us a clue as to who is getting their own big screen adventures. Here are the four domains which all currently redirect to the Warner Bros main webpage.

JusticeLeagueFilm.com

ShazamMovie.com

WonderWomanTheMovie.com

AquamanMovie.com

We had already learned that WB had selected two screenwriters to develop possible scripts for an AQUAMAN film, but this is our first indication of a WONDER WOMAN movie.  It would make sense with how early Gal Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman that she would get one of the first non-Superman/Batman solo films in the new cinematic universe and will likely beat Marvel to the punch for the first time in something.

Jason Momoa has yet to confirm that he is AQUAMAN, so unless WB has someone else in mind that we have heard nothing about, he is the best at playing dumb/coy for any of these big screen heroes. Expect news to be announced sooner rather than later as DC has gotten their ducks all in a row.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE hits theaters March 25, 2016 with JUSTICE LEAGUE coming 2018.
