After turning JEEPERS CREEPERS 2 into a boys love boys but just don’t know it yet Skinemax-type offering, one can only imagine what Victor Salva will deliver with a bunch of soldiers in the trenches. However, that’s exactly what we’ll be treated to as he is attached to direct THE WATCH from Dream Entertainment.
Matt LeBlanc (NBC’s JOEY) will produce via his Fort Hill Prods. banner. The flick revolves around a team of highly specialized soldiers sent to blow up a Nazi fuel depot, only to discover they are being hunted by an evil spirit unleashed by the Nazi’s secret occult experiments.
Kinda sounds like THE KEEP meets UNHOLY to me, but let’s wish them all good luck. Especially LeBlanc if he hears those three little words from Salva – How YOU doin’?
