The directing duo of Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani, who wowed a lot of people with their unusual thriller AMER a couple of years ago, are back with another ode to giallo called THE STRANGE COLOUR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS. A teaser trailer for the film has just gone online, and while it’s brief and abstract, it’s quite lovely in its peculiar, bloody way.

Plot details are thin, but here’s what we know:

A woman vanishes. Her husband inquires into the strange circumstances of her disappearance…

THE STRANGE COLOUR OF YOUR BODY’S TEARS stars Klaus Tange, Jean-Michel Vovk, Sylvia Carmarda, Sam Louwyck and Anna D’Annunzio. It will be released later this year.
