Variety reports today that the Warner Bros./ Dark Castle project THE REAPING has found a director- HIGHWAY’s James Cox.
The flick, based on a story Brian Rousso, written by Chad & Carey Hayes (HOUSE OF WAX), is about a chick who claims a religious phenomena is coming to her small town.
With Joel Silver and Robert Zemeckis on board to produce, hard to tell if this one’s going to be another 13 GHOSTS, or THE HOUSE OF HAUNTED HILL (both films not the best, but one’s definately better than the other).

At least they’re steering away from yet another remake of a B&W classic. HOUSE OF WAX, their latest dip into horror starring Paris Hilton, hits theaters May 6th.
