From AMERICAN BEAUTY to “American Horror Story”: Wes Bentley is the latest newcomer to join the fourth season of FX’s horror series, subtitled FREAK SHOW.

According to TV Line, Bentley (pictured in GHOST RIDER above) will play “Eddie, a dark tormentor from Kathy Bates’ past who is hell-bent on revenge.” He will appear in the show’s annual two-part Halloween episode.

Bentley will co-star alongside Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Bates, as well as newbie Michael Chiklis, who plays the Freak Show strongman.

“American Horror Story” is headed to its first San Diego Comic-Con later this month; we can expect a teaser trailer to hit around that time.
