What did you think of…Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?

Back in 2014 I remember folks telling me that there's no way anyone would care about a talking raccoon and a dude from Parks and Rec leading a Marvel movie. It would be their first big flop. Well, we all saw how that turned out, as GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY made an epic splash on the big screen and household names of both the characters and stars of the film, as well as director James Gunn. Now, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 is charging into theaters on a wave of positive hype and folks eager to see that talking raccoon and buffed-up Parks and Rec star in lights again.

The reviews have been expectedly positive for the film, which currently sits at a certified 83% on Rotten Tomatoes. Eric Walkuski supplied our first review, giving it a 7/10, saying the film is "…going to have to live in the shadow of its superior predecessor; that's what happens when the original is just so original and the follow-up is just so… decent." Chris Bumbray gave it an 8/10, saying it's "… undoubtedly one of Marvel’s stronger efforts, although given that it’s a sequel the nifty touches that distinguished the first film won’t come as much of a surprise this go-round "
