What is so unique about Carrie? Find out in this latest TV spot

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

We're only a few short weeks from seeing Chloe Moretz freak us the hell out as the titular character in Kimberly Peirce's remake of CARRIE and it seems you can't turn the television on without seeing a new TV spot for the flick. The latest, titled 'Unique', dares to question what it is that makes Carrie White so different. I think we all know the answer to that one.

By now, you're either onboard with this remake or you're totally against it. Either way, it's coming at us October 18th, so I hope you have your prom attire picked out. It should be one hell of a party!

CARRIE tells the supernatural tale of a telekinetic teenage girl tormented by her peers. The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine, is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter, Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc.

Directed by Kimberly Peirce, CARRIE stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer and Portia Doubleday. The film will terrorize theaters on October 18th.
