Whitaker Expendable?

Looks like Sly Stallone is putting together an all-star cast of bad mamma-jamma’s for his action flick THE EXPENDABLES – or trying to at least. We already know that he’s got himself, Jason Statham, and Jet Li lined up – now it seems as though he wants Forest “Charles Jefferson” Whitaker to enlist as well. Whitaker would play a “devious CIA agent” in the action-adventure about a group of badasses looking to take down a Latin American dictator… The casting is not set in stone, but if Sly pulls it off this is looking very sharp indeed…

But let’s not break out the party poppers just yet. Stallone is apparently gunning for a PG-13 rating; odd considering all the disturbing mayhem he unleashed in RAMBO. Of course, that doesn’t mean it can’t be great fun… “Whereas the ‘Oceans 11’ films were an ensemble for good looking guys, this is an ensemble for ugly tough guys,” Stallone told a crowd at the American Film Market.

The flick will start shooting in February in Costa Rica and Louisiana, with a budget of about $35 million.

RAMBO had Julie Benz in it… Is this flick gonna be a sausage party or what?
