Until now, it hadn’t even occurred to me that there would be a video game based on WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE. I still maintain that this movie is far too terrifying to be marketed to kids, so that just leaves us 20 and 30-somethings who will buy it to be ironic.
The game is getting a mass console onslaught release; something usually associated with IRON MAN or TRANSFORMERS movie games, and will be out for the Wii, DS, 360 and PS3 around the time the movie opens in October.
The gameplay would seem to be some sort of monster-aided platformer, and if you think the graphics look bad, keep in mind the screenshot you’re probably viewing is for the Wii. Check out a few pics below and click on them to head over to Kotaku for the rest.
