Will Arnold Schwarzenegger appear in Shane Black’s Predator?

There just might be some Predator hunting in Arnold Schwarzenegger's future! Last week, Fox set a release date for the next installment in the Predator film series, and during a conversation with The Arnold Fans at the annual Arnold Sports Festival in Columbus, Ohio, Schwarzenegger revealed that he is planning on meeting with director Shane Black. The actor also gave a quick update on the long-in-development Conan sequel THE LEGEND OF CONAN/CONAN THE CONQUEROR.

I haven’t talked with him (Shane Black) yet but I’m going to meet with him for lunch sometime soon. Just as soon as I’m finished with this (Arnold Sports Festival) and "The Apprentice" and all this stuff. But I will get together with him. If there is any news, we’ll of course let you know right away. There’s also a meeting coming up soon about Conan, about the project moving forward.

Obviously this doesn't mean Schwarzenegger will definitely reprise his role as Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer in the new movie, however it's possible his character is in Black and Fred Dekker's script, and it does sound like the actor might be interested in returning to the franchise. Do you think we will see Schwarzenegger's Dutch back in action in Black's PREDATOR?

PREDATOR will be in theaters on March 2, 2018.
