Will Ferrell & John C. Reilly bring the silly in Holmes and Watson trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are a great comedic duo, and the pair have joined forces once again for HOLMES AND WATSON, a comedic take on the famed detective which finds Ferrell playing Holmes and Reilly playing Dr. Watson, except this time, they're stupid. The first trailer for the Etan Cohen film has finally arrived and it certainly brings the silly. At the moment, I feel as though the film could land either way: a STEP BROTHERS-style cult classic or a comedic misfire, but, if you've ever wanted someone to say, "no shit, Sherlock" in a Sherlock Holmes movie, well, look no further.

In addition to Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, HOLMES AND WATSON also stars Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, Hugh Laurie, Rob Brydon, Kelly Macdonald, and Steve Coogan. HOLMES AND WATSON will hit theaters on December 21, 2018.
