The last time any of you may have seen Will Ferrell was in last month’s release, EVERYTHING MUST GO. Didn’t see that? Well, the actor has recently signed on to do a feature for Warner Bros. called SWEAR TO GOD.

The guys who wrote DUE DATE, Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland will write the pitch. The film is being described as a “buddy comedy” about, “a narcissistic hedge fund manager who thinks he has seen God.” Not terribly original, but Ferrell always amuses me.

Earlier there were reports that Adam McKay would be producing and directing. Recently there has been an update that McKay is not currently attached to helm the film. Emmy winning scribes Cohen and Freedland have also penned episodes of KING OF THE HILL and AMERICAN DAD.
