Will & Grace’s Sean Hayes will be Larry in The Three Stooges

JoBloJoBlo

Well, f*ck. So much for James Marsden.

According to Variety, Peter and Bobby Farrelly have found their Larry for THE THREE STOOGES in actor Sean Hayes, probably best known for the role of ‘Jack McFarland’ in NBC’s television series “Will & Grace”.

Hayes joins the recently confirmed Will Sasso (“MADtv”) as Curly, but Variety has no further word on the role of Moe. Last we heard, Deadline was reporting that funnyman Hank Azaria was the frontrunner for the Stooge leader. Today’s report simply states that the part is still out to actors. If there was any doubt about it before, there shouldn’t be any now: Fox is really shooting for a cheap film here.

As has been previously reported, the PG-rated THREE STOOGES will be divided into three 27-minute segments and follow a tone similar in nature to the Farrellys’ own DUMB & DUMBER. The film is scheduled for release sometime next year.
