Will Jamie Foxx take the lead in Django Unchained?

JoBloJoBlo

I’d like Will Smith to let us know if he wants the lead role in Quentin Tarantino’s DJANGO UNCHAINED because this is the second time another possible actor has been brought up for the part.

Showbiz 411 is saying that if Smith leaves the project that Jamie Foxx will step up to replace him. There aren’t many details on the casting rumor or even where it originated from. The author of the article states that Samuel L. Jackson says he’s psyched about the film and that’s it.

No mention of Idris Elba either. I guess that mystery part might really be for Guillermo del Toro’s PACIFIC RIM.

Another thing that is mentioned in the article is that Leonardo is now confirmed for the part of the villain, slave owner Calvin Candie.
