Sequel talk isn't uncommon, even before a movie comes out, but it seems as though the Farrellys had a good time hamming it up with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels as they seem pretty keen on returning to the world of Dumb and Dumber. Despite reviews not being so hot on this sequel taking place 20 years later (you can check out our review here), the flick managed to rake in $38 million this weekend! Word is that's pretty much all the film's budget right there, so the idea of a sequel, at least from the studio perspective, doesn't seem that far-fetched. For those of you who plan on catching DUMB AND DUMBER TO in theaters and want to avoid end credits spoilers, look away now!

Aside from seeing footage from the original DUMB AND DUMBER during the end credits, if you stayed for the whole shebang you were treated to a scene where the infamous Sea Bass ("Kick his ass!") stumbles upon Harry and Lloyd in his truck, having not forgotten the unforgivable salt incident from the first film. A title card announces DUMB AND DUMBER FOR coming our way 2034, but something tells me that if that it's going to be a reality, the Farrellys won't wait that long. While I haven't caught TO yet, word is that it rehashes a few too many jokes from the first. If they do end up going for a trilogy, here's hoping they come up with something a little more original.

DUMB AND DUMBER TO is now in theaters!.

You can't top 22 JUMP STREET's end credits!
