Keeping with the current vampire pandemonium, James Eaves’ THE WITCHES HAMMER is finally receiving a DVD release.

From MTI Home Video, Eaves’ film revolves around a genetically engineered vampire named Rebecca (Claudia Coulter) who is taught to kill her own kind. When her agency is destroyed, Rebecca is thrown into a quest to find an ancient book that is said to raise the dead. Vying for the book is a league of deadly vampires, demons and witches who, if they attain the book, will usher the Souls of the Damned into our dimension. And as I’m sure you can guess, we can’t be having that shite!

The British flick, produced back in 2006, now finally has a November 24th DVD street-date. The disc will feature outtakes, original trailers, and a cool making-of featurette.

THE WTICHES HAMMER stars Claudia Coulter (REUNITING THE RUBINS), Tina Barnes (BANE), Stephanie Beacham (IMSEMINOID), George Anton (TIMEQUEST), Andrew Cullum, Tom Dover, Sally Reeve and Magda Rodriguez (THE RUN).
