If you guys are anything like me you’re dying to see more from Marc Forster’s WORLD WAR Z. The thing has been in production for months with barely any goods coming from it. Hell all we’ve seen are some set-shots. Don’t get me wrong… I’d rather most of the flick remain a mystery until it hits theaters but come on! Give us a little something…

Unfortunately today’s update doesn’t offer any goods from the film but we do have WORLD WAR Z star Mireille Enos talking shop. The actress recently chatted with E! Online where she let loose the following:

“It’s like zombies are the new vampires. It’s taking over. But somebody said to me this movie might end the zombie genre because, after this, what else is there to do? It’s huge!

It was [going to be] from the beginning. That was the hope, that if the first one turned out the way we all anticipate, that it would be great to turn it into a trilogy. It’s exciting.”

So as you can see Enos is also confirming the fact that there’s been some WORLD WAR Z trilogy talk. Nice! Here’s hoping this thing turns out as huge as Enos is hinting!

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane, who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Along with Enos WORLD WAR Z also stars Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox, David Morse and James Badge Dale. It’s already got a December 21st release date tapped so here’s hoping we see some goods soon!
