Well folks the sixth season of Showtime’s “Dexter” is still a ways away and considering today’s update, the casting isn’t over just yet! We’ve been bringing you every piece of “Dexter” news that has dropped our way so why stop now?!

So who is the latest name joining the fun in Miami? According to TV Line it’s actor Josh Cooke, who just signed on to play the recurring role of Louis Greene, a new lab intern at Miami Metro and a buddy of fellow forensics nerd Masuka’s. The character is described as a “computer genius and a bit arrogant about it.”

Dexter Morgan spent Season Five atoning for the death of his wife, Rita. He committed to being a part of her children’s lives and entered into a deep, passionate relationship with Lumen, unlike anything he’d ever had before.

But Dexter’s need to kill overpowers his desire for human connection. And now that one person knows the truth about him, and a few others are close, how much longer will America’s favorite serial killer be able to keep his dark side a secret?

Cooke (above) joins fellow first timers Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Edward James Olmos, Aimee Garcia, Billy Brown, Brea Grant (below) and Mos Def in “Dexter” Season 6, which is slated to hit Showtime sometime this Fall.
