I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m starting to feel like this PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES flick is never going to see the light of day. The project has been through what, three directors already? At least?? And now word is dropping from ItsOnTheGrid that a new writer has signed on to the project. Well of course.
Although I’ve got to say, regardless of a new writer signing on to the film this is the closest I think we’ve been to this thing actually happening. Why do I say that? Well because this new writer I speak of is none other than Marti Noxon, who has actually worked with director Craig Gillespie before on the upcoming FRIGHT NIGHT remake. So now that we have this dynamic duo together once again do we finally have some hope for PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES? Only time will tell.
PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES will tell the timeless story of a woman’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers.
So there you have it folks. Sure it’s a step backward hiring a brand new writer for this thing but at least it’s an update right? We’ll be on the lookout for more news regarding PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES and as soon as that comes our way we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
