Yesterday we got a look at the “hunky” dwarves Kili and Fili from THE HOBBIT, but today we’re back to the more traditional burly types that Tolkien fans are probably more accustomed to.

The latest pic features Bombur, Bofur and Bifur, played respectively by Stephen Hunter, James Nesbitt and William Kircher. This lager-loving trio is among the thirteen dwarves who join Bilbo Baggins on his fantastical adventure, brought to you by indefatigable filmmaker Peter Jackson.

Stuff.co.nz premiered the pic with this description of the ale-guzzling warriors: “Born and bred in the West, descendants of coal miners and iron workers, they have joined the Quest for the Lonely Mountain partly to seek their fortune and partly because they were told the beer was free.”
