Now here’s a story that really rocks! Anyone? Okay, moving on! In case you didn’t check out the trailer that debuted last month for EVEREST, the film follows a climbing expedition on Mt. Everest that is devastated by a severe snow storm. Boasting an ensemble that includes Jason Clarke, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Hawkes, Robin Wright, Josh Brolin, Sam Worthington, Keira Knightley, Emily Watson, Martin Henderson, Elizabeth Debicki, and Michael Kelly, you can now check out the IMAX trailer that had me holding my breath in quite a few scenes. Check it out and see if you agree!

I rather enjoy watching those do what I would never attempt in my wildest days, and EVEREST looks like it’s going to deliver that in the most dangerous way imaginable! Survival stories like this may not offer anything new (true story or no) but they can be entertaining when done right. I can tell you that the cast is pitch-perfect, so let’s see who makes it down from Everest alive! Jason Clarke, I still haven’t forgiven you for TERMINATOR:GENISYS. Just sayin’.

EVEREST will hit theaters on September 25, 2015.
