Aside from THE HUNGER GAMES franchise, none of the many YA film adaptations managed to pique my interest until THE MAZE RUNNER came around. It may not have blown my mind but I have to admit that the film was quite the pleasant surprise. Fox has released a new trailer for the sequel, MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS, which showcases just how much they're opening up the world as well as a few of the new dangers the Gladers will face in the Scorch.

MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS is set for a September 18, 2015 release and the final film in the series, MAZE RUNNER: THE DEATH CURE, will be released on February 17, 2017 and, surprise surprise, it may NOT be split into two parts. It's a Christmas miracle folks!
