You’ve got a friend in the new TV Spot and final poster for Toy Story 4

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Roughly nine years after devastating fans with the final, heart-wrenching moments of Lee Unkirk's TOY STORY 3, Pixar is gearing up for yet another adventure featuring Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang with TOY STORY 4. Helmed by Pixar veteran Josh Cooley, the upcoming animation tells of when a new toy called "Forky" joins Woody and the rest of his playtime pals for a road trip that takes them into a world not meant for flimsy action figures and vintage collectibles. Along their journey, the post-Andy crew will make new friends in addition to being reunited with old ones.

In the new TV Spot, we find Woody (Tom Hanks) and Bo Peep (Annie Potts) willing to give their strained relationship another go, while Buzz and other members of his party navigate a traveling carnival filled with new and wondrous dangers around every jubilant corner. We also get what I've found to be the funniest gag of the trailers so far, in which Ducky (Keegan-Michael Key) and Bunny (Jordan Peele) run afoul of a kitty cat who delights in sharpening its murder mittens on defenseless stuffies.

In addition to the new TV Spot, Pixar also dropped the final poster for TOY STORY 4, featuring Woody, Bo, and Buzz standing firm in the face of their latest adventure.

TOY STORY 4 starring Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Patricia Arquette, Keanu Reeves, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Michael Keaton, Bonnie Hunt, Joan Cusack, Annie Potts, Laurie Metcalf, Kristen Schall, and Tony Hale, among others, will arrive in theaters on June 21, 2019.
