Zachary Quinto & Ashleigh Cummings to get behind the wheel of AMC’s NOS4A2

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

You'd better buckle up, horror fans, because Zachary Quinto (STAR TREK, AMERICAN HORROR STORY) and Ashleigh Cummings (THE GOLDFINCH, HOUNDS OF LOVE) have just hitched a ride aboard AMC's supernatural drama NOS4A2. Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Joe Hill, son of the legendary novelist Stephen King, NOS4A2 tells the chilling tale of Victoria McQueen (Cummings) who has a secret gift for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. On her Raleigh Tuff Burner bike, she makes her way to a rickety covered bridge that, within moments, takes her wherever she needs to go, whether it’s across Massachusetts or across the country.

Charles Talent Manx (Quinto) has a way with children. He likes to take them for rides in his 1938 Rolls-Royce Wraith with the NOS4A2 vanity plate. With his old car, he can slip right out of the everyday world, and onto the hidden roads that transport them to an astonishing – and terrifying – playground of amusements he calls “Christmasland.” Then, one day, Vic goes looking for trouble—and finds Manx. That was a lifetime ago. Now Vic, the only kid to ever escape Manx’s unmitigated evil, is all grown up and desperate to forget. But Charlie Manx never stopped thinking about Victoria McQueen. He’s on the road again and he’s picked up a new passenger: Vic’s own son.

Hill and the show's creator, Jami O’Brien (FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, HELL ON WHEELS), will executive produce NOS4A2 alongside Lauren Corrao, Co-President of Tornante Television. The terrifyingly twisted exploits of both McQueen and Manx are expected to premiere on AMC sometime in 2019, giving fans at least one more Christmas season to enjoy before all the killing starts. Will Vic be able to defeat Manx and rescue his victims, all while keeping her sanity intact? Or, will Manx uncover a way to trap Vic in his Grinch-like grasp for the rest of eternity? Find out when NOS4A2 makes its AMC debut.
