Gotta love October, friends! We got a press release from Turner Classic Movies that they’ve got one helluva good time planned for all us genre fans. Read on for the tasty news:
Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will join with faithful followers of cult films in an appreciation of the often misunderstood, sometimes maligned genre in the network’s newest weekly movie franchise, TCM UNDERGROUND, to be hosted by filmmaker and legendary rocker Rob Zombie. The late-night showcase, which will feature off-the-wall or avant-garde movies chosen and introduced by Zombie, is set to launch Friday,
Oct. 13, at 2 a.m. ET / 11 p.m. PT.
Among the movies scheduled to be featured on TCM UNDERGROUND are horror master George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead and The Crazies, Ed Wood’s Bride Of The Monster and the originator of horror Tod Browning’s Freaks, as well as Leonard Castle’s offbeat The Honeymoon Killers.
How f*cking sweet is that? Check out the clips they’ve dropped on us below.
