What do you get when you cross mutants, vampires and zombies with some urban flavour and throw it up on the screen? MUTANT VAMPIRE ZOMBIES FROM THE ‘HOOD, that’s what! Produced by Stormfront Films, the film is being directed by Thunder Levin, and stars C. Thomas Howell (from the original HITCHER), Greg Alan Williams, Tyshawn Bryant, Johanna Watts, Robert Wu
and Rachel Montez Collins.
The film, which began shooting this month, is slated for that oh-so-convenient Halloween 2007 release, and is set in the gang-ruled underbelly of L.A.’s streets, and follows a group of inner-city survivors who fight to flee a city now infested with blood-sucking zombies after a solar flare of supernatural proportions (don’t you just hate when that happens?). The makeup job for the film is in good hands, as American Makeup & Effects are no stranger to cool shite (think PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN’S CHEST).
