What up peeps! Everyone recovered
from the margarita mania at Chili’s last night where I made an ass of myself and
told off Mr. Johnson in front of everyone? (Why did I drink so many of those
delicious frozen headaches!) Well if not, this may help!
We just got word of a new musical
out of Austin, Texas that simply sounds kick-ass! The play has gratuitous
nudity, music by a pirate themed metal band The Jolly Garogers, a special guest
appearance by legendary Tex-Mex musician Joe “King” Carrasco and Mark Zupan. Oh
and did I forget to mention the zombie-nuns?
That’s right, it’s another zombie
musical and I f**king love it! We reported about EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL
here and about the
NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD musical
here, but now we have another zombie musical to discuss; Z: A ZOMBIE
MUSICAL.
I know that some people are getting tired of zombie musicals, but I for one
can’t get enough of them. I really think that these are absolutely amazing
ideas. And such a clever way to bridge the gap between film and theatre. The
story revolves around two nuns who become zombies and go on a self fulfilling
life journey.
I’ve included several promo trailers for the musical, and if it’s anything like
the promo’s, a ticket to it will be like solid gold!
