Our 6-person JoBlo.com crew beat the shit out of the Comic Con this past weekend, and tried to describe every video they saw, if it didn't hit the Net fast enough, and even though our very own Mike Sampson did a great job of describing the THOR footage that he caught on Saturday afternoon...there ain't nothing better than seeing the actual video itself, so here you go, folks!

I was extremely suspect of this before, with just the images from the film. But seeing it in action has completely reversed my feelings towards this film. I STILL think Mjollnir looks disappointing, but that's a minor flaw on what is shaping up to be a fairly epic undertaking. I wish we could've seen more though of the man playing Loki. The remainder of my doubts depend on his character,...

Why does Thor keep reminding me of Heath Ledger for some reason. I am excited for this movie though and I think Hemmingworth(Ithink thats his name) is perfect I think when he yelled at his father that was such a perfect like Thor voice. Cant wait I think more excited for this than Captain America and I never got into Thor as much as I did with Captain America I just think it was that bad photo...

Bad ass!!!
My first thought after watching the trailer was "Hey that looks like a pretty good story" which is where the focus should always be. Don't worry about Special fx etc. those will be great no matter what. I like the Shakespearean father/son relationship they're setting up betwixt Odin and Thor and the idea of dealing with parental disappointment and redeeming yourself. Very cool! Also Thor does...

Looks pretty decent. Good actors, even if Thor is a bit young. Wish they could have made Asgard less shiny and metallic, kind of looks like Iron Man designed everything there, but it seems to work. Ray Stevenson looks great as Falstaff.

I can't believe everyone's raving about this. I think it looks pretty corny. I had higher hopes for this (compared to Captain America) because of the talent involved, but some of those scenes with the gods fighting towards the end gave me Battlefield Earth vibes. It's just hard to treat anything seriously when the costumes are so ridiculous.

I'm not a fan of directors that still have every shot in an action sequence at a tilt. Nothing in this trailer really screams of originality. Hopefully future trailers are better.

That was incredible. That was just fantastic! I was blown away by that. It's being taken down all over the place so sorry if people can't see it by the time i'm gabbing about it but i am might impressed. Brannagh really pulled it off! You knew it would either be the biggest disappointment ever or a contender to Iron Man 1! Thankfully it's the latter for me. If the movie is anywhere near as good...

This looks incredible. Hemsworth looks to be perfect for the role. Branagh is proving that he was the best choice for director, as this could've very easily been cheesy and overblown, and I'm not getting that impression at all. And I love that Natalie Portman agreed to do this, she adds a ton of credibility. Also, really glad to see them continue to give Agent Coulson a bigger role. He's awesome.

Haha, looks like I was one of the last to see it! It was ok. Nothing amazing. Kinda seemed a bit over the place, never too sure whether to make it an action or a drama about Thor not knowing what to do with himself. But hey, I'm still going to see it.

...I hate to say, I really do, but I'm still on the fence here a bit. The visual aesthetic of the film (especially Asgard) is definitely a lot cooler than I anticipated, but I can't help that there seems to be an underlying cheese factor coming from this, can't pinpoint exactly. Also, the very flat tone is sortof bother some, hope it's just a not very well put together trailer (well,...

The film looks great. Asgard looks really cool, the detail is astonishing. The real trailer will probably be even better. Guess they are hard at work with the special effects right now, since the movie is still almost a year away. That is possibly the reason why there were no lightning shown.

And you are right Terminal_83; Branagh was the right director for this movie and this character. Although I would have liked to see Nolans version and Alexander Skarsgård as Thor instead of Chris, just to be able to compare. :)

I just wanna say to all the haters before this trailer came out, SCREW YOU!! They sure wish they hadn't bagged this movie before they even saw a clip. I read a lot of comments "Thor will be disappointing" or "Looks like its gonna suck" Well all I gotta say is put ur finger in ur mouth and never judge a movie before you see anything you idiots!!

that looks fuckin awesome, thank you for trying to stay true to the source material. pumped for this. i always thought that the funny lookin tunning fork thing was an insignia on the front of the helmet not the top of it.

Looks great, I have no clue what the hell the giant thing at the end was but I thought it was badass. KB is a prime director all the Asgard stuff fit perfectly within the realm of the Marvel film universe.

I dont think thats Ultron its Destroyer. But wow this movie looks amazing! Cant believe they pulled it off. Definitely tops my list for next year

Around the two minute mark I think those were the frost giants, and please tell me that Ultron at the end. If it was Ultron then they are setting the plot up nicely for Iron Man 3 and The Avengers. Summer of 2011 is jam packed and I can't wait.
