NOTE: There has been some talk online that this art is a fake. It is not. It was taken from the WB PROMOTIONAL PACKAGE you see below. It is maybe not the final one-sheet for the film (looks like a work in progress to me), but it is official WB promo art for it none the less.

We just nabbed ourselves a FIRST LOOK at some FINAL DESTINATION 5 Promotional Art (via an anonymous friend of the site) and it"s looking pretty sweet! See it within this story! FINAL DESTINATION 5 will kill the screens on August 12, 2011, and it stars Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Arlen Escarpeta and Tony Todd. Here's what it's about!

In this fifth installment, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man's premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death's sinister agenda.

I have high hopes for this one! I think they will re-inject smarts into the franchise, like the first 2 films had! Bring it!

Hoping this one will be far more fun than the previous. 3 was entertaining enough, but I have higher hopes for this one. I also hope the kills are more creative. TFD disappointed on that front.

Two reasons I'm pumped:
1. Emma Bell who gave an oscar worthy performance in Frozen and was equally good on The Walking Dead

2. That kill-or-be-killed angle is REALLY doing it for me! I've been wanting to see that in a FD movie since the first sequel!

Sick just sick

I'm so tired of this franchise. We all know you can't dodge death. We get it already.

Looking forward to this.

Loved the first 3 (though the ending of 2 and the rollercoaster crash in 3 could've been bigger if you ask me)and on first viewing i did have fun with 4, though 2nd viwing was a little cringe worthy. I like the kill or be killed angle from the trailers for this one.
Poster - I like but .....how'd he get catapulted away up there? Lol!

The third one was bad, but fun, and the fourth was just bad. Crossing my fingers that this isn't just more of the same.

But hey, at least Tony Todd's back!
