Perhaps this will help. Via TV Line, a new image of the great Frances Conroy's return (different from the old maid in season 1) has been developed. She'll apparently play "the ultimate Angel," according to showrunner Ryan Murphy.
But consider the logline of this week's episode and the corresponding photo below. Looks like Conroy's character (real or imagined) will hold more weight this go around as a "dark angel" that sister Eunice (Jessica Lange) is "petrified" of.
Should be fun!
