So yes, this is the English version of the French trailer for INCEPTION we showed you a few days ago, so it may not be 100% "new" per se, but trust me that it's a lot cooler when you actually can hear what's being said, even if I have no idea what Leonardo DiCaprio is talking about.

Dicaprio narrates about how an idea is extremely powerful, which is why he has to steal it. Not sure at all what that means, but the movie would seem to be Leo crawling around inside people's heads trying to find this idea, hence why we see crazy shit happen like cities folding up on themselves and trains rampaging down the street.

Awesome Trailer...
Looks amazing but "The Hot Tub Time Machine" is still my most anticipated movie of 2010. Followed by "Iron Man 2", then this. I can't wait to see Joseph Gordon/en(sp?) Levitt in this.

I'm not a fan of 'in your mind' movies. Or for that matter 'it was all a dream' or 'we're in heaven' movies. They feel without rules, anything goes because it's all imaginary and I find those films tensionless and boring.

This has been for a while my most anticipated movie of 2010, and this trailer only makes it even harder to wait for July. All Nolan's films so far have been great - so set him up with a mindfuck of a story and a stellar cast... expected result: awesomeness.

Saw this before Sherlock Holmes (which is fucking awesome!) this afternoon. What I get from it is that these people are stuck in their minds in this place, but Page's character is able to change the reality they see. Hence DiCaprio telling her to imagine different places to be and never the same place twice.

Meh. This trailer didn't do anything for me. The city folding up was a nice visual, but the "mystique" of not understanding what the plot is about doesn't get me excited to see it or anything. I don't think it's difficult for someone to make a trailer basically asking alot of questions without giving any answers. "WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?!" When they release a trailer with some substance, maybe...

It's a Nolan film with DiCaprio... what could go wrong? A lot of people were pissed when he and Papsidera cast Ledger as the Joker and that turned out brilliant. I will never second guess Nolan, so I'm on board!

People complaining about the possible borrowed plot need to stop and think about what is even officially known about this film, which is close to nothing. Almost all movies have the same plot as an other movie, but its about how its structured, and plays out is what sets it apart.

Managed to catch the French trailer on another site after it was removed. Fuckin' amazing teaser. It remains my most anticipated of next year.



Side-Note: I wonder how Nolan's doing the whole city-bending thing, since he usually doesn't resort to (too much) CGI.

that we'll be getting more sci-fi movies with brains and “ideas” in the future, instead of films that are just all about spectacle and nothing else (2012? Terminator Salvation?).

I loved his debut Following, I still love Memento, Insomnia was pretty good, and Prestige was ok. his Batman films are shit and shittier, but regardless all his films share a few things in common. 1, they all have big and intricate concepts/plots, and 2, he generally doesn't know where to pull his punches so the whole film falls flat on itself. That said, I have doubts this film will be any...

These are the kinds of teaser-trailers that M. Night Shyamalan used to put together before his films started not working as well. I LOVE mysteries in trailers and miss the good ol' days when we had so many. Can't wait for this one...definitely TOP 3 TO SEE in 2010 for me...
