Broderick’s capacity

Matthew Broderick (FERRIS BEULLER’S DAY OFF), Virginia Madsen (SIDEWAYS) and Alan Alda (THE AVIATOR) have all signed on for the movie DIMINISHED CAPACITY for Plum Pictures. Terry Kinney, who starred in and directed several episodes of OZ will be directing the movie which is about a man who suffers memory loss after being struck in the head and then takes a trip with his uncle that suffers from Alzheimer’s (Alda) and high-school sweetheart (Madsen) as they try to sell a rare baseball card. I’m speculating that by the end of the trip they sort out their differences, learn to appreciate life and all get on a stage and dance to ‘Superfreak’ with Abigail Breslin.

DIMINISHED CAPACITY is the latest project that Plum have taken on. They are also currently working on an English remake of the weird French film CACHE.
