Yesterday I posted my 10/10 review of SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD on the site so you know how I feel about it. But what doesn't come across is how the film played to the hundreds of Comic-Con faithful who were surprised by Edgar Wright in Hall H as he leapt off the stage and led them down the streets of San Diego to a secret screening of the film.

Genevieve and I stuck around after the screening to talk to some of the fans who had just seen the movie to gauge their reactions. As you might expect, they all loved it. If you watch this video closely you'll also see reactions from a SCOTT PILGRIM star as well as another actor who's worked with Edgar Wright before. But you'll have to watch to see...

I'll see it . . .
. . . but if it weren't for Edgar Wright, I sure wouldn't.

Snappy
Just me or have I missed something. Why does she snap at the heavy bald guy when he accidentally starts too soon?

Glad the film is living up to the expectations I have for it. Visually it just looks stunning. However, that question to Peter, "Did you kind of wish you had been on board for this one too?" just comes off as such an asshole-question.

Wow 10/10 huh? Nice! I have faith in Edgar Wright and I look forward to seeing this film along with The Expendables that weekend.

first impression
from the trailers and stuff i thought to myself, this movie looks so fucking dumb, but these positive reviews are starting to change my mind and i will be checking this one out for sure. lesson learned: never judge a movie by it's trailer. especially last airbender...holy fuck.

I wonder if Peter Serafinowicz tried to get into the Whiskey Girl after the premier and could not because he was wearing a "plain white t-shirt"

Who gives a shit about Scott Pilgrim when The Expendables come out the same day? A lot of geeks maybe... I'm not one of them.
