Cool Videos: Take a look at the new animated ThunderCats

There was a THUNDERCATS movie in the works a few years back that never got off the ground and instead they decided to relaunch the franchise with a series on Cartoon Network. The network had a big presence at WonderCon this past weekend and brought with them a new official trailer for the series.

I happened to be following along on Twitter as this was going on and the feedback didn’t seem very positive but just from watching the footage, it seems like…well, “Thundercats.” I mean it includes a line from a Thundercat general imploring his troops to “fight like cats” so, you know. If you can get past the inherent silliness of it all (Lion-O is now a somewhat reluctant teen warrior instead of Alpha Male), it could be worth watching. Or you can just ogle Cheetara in her skimpy clothes…
