Jamie Lee Curtis has joined the cast of Disney’s SOUTH OF THE BORDER as the second (the first being Piper Perabo) of two live action characters in the film. The Raja Gosnell-directed live action/CGI hybrid dramedy centers on a snobbish Beverly Hills Chihuahua who gets lost in Mexico and must make her way through an unforgiving heat, wild animals and a series of moral lessons to find her way back home. The unsurprisingly impressive voice cast includes Drew Barrymore, George Lopez, Andy Garcia, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, Placido Domingo, Edward James Olmos and Eddie Sotelo. Curtis willl play the dog’s owner, Aunt Viv. Curtis can next be seen in, well, nothing.
