First poster for Amanda Seyfried’s Gone

Well, I mean, she’s right here. GONE is just the title. 

Summit Entertainment just sent over this new poster for the upcoming thriller featuring the MEAN GIRLS and RED RIDING HOOD star. This is going to be a different kind of role for her, one that sees her taking the offense to save her sister from a serial killer.

Jill Parrish (Amanda Seyfried) comes home from a night shift to discover her sister Molly has been abducted. Jill, who had escaped from a kidnapper a year before, is convinced that the same serial killer has come back for her sister. Afraid that Molly will be dead by sundown, Jill embarks on a heart-pounding chase to find the killer, expose his secrets and save her sister. Jennifer Carpenter, Wes Bentley, Sebastian Stan and Michael Pare co-star.

There’s a little bit of the ol’ “is this just happening in her head” twist that these psychological thrillers love to include, as you can see from the trailer. GONE opens in theaters on February 24th.
