Four new motion posters on the half shell for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

07.10.2014

Four new motion posters have debuted for Jonathan Liebesman's TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES featuring clips old and new from the upcoming action flick. The posters come courtesy of Mashable, IGN, Facebook, and Complex. Each showcases one of the four turtles and gives us a glimpse of their weapons in action.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is pushing hard in the final month leading up to the theatrical release of the Michael Bay-produced film with the most recent trailer converting a lot of those on the fence and making those wholly against the reboot question if it was going to be all that bad. Granted, Bay's involvement and the pisspoor quality of TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION should rightfully make you nervous, but TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES looks a heck of a lot better than I expected it to.

The lingering questions about the plot will hopefully remain unsolved in the next few weeks, preserving the mystery of the plot: does Splinter die? Do we only focus on half the team for the film? Is William Fichtner playing Shredder or not? Will Krang appear?>

Those questions and more should be put to rest when TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES opens on August 8th.

Ya know, it's not like they look bad, or that the movie looks horrible, or anything really to complain about specifically. It's just that the Turtles was a huge part of all of our childhoods, I just feel like the marketing has been abysmal..... I feel like I should be blown away by the trailers, or character pieces, or something, but I'm not. Hopefully when this movie gets close that its decent.

Haters wanna hate

kinda surprises me. Every time something new is posted on this movie, you get the same douche bags (see below) spouting the same crap, "oh this movie is going to suck", "this is going to be terrible just like transformers 4". Even though they're basically judging it from trailers or pre made beliefs of the filmmakers. If ya don't like the movie, or don't think it's going to be any good. Why post or look at the news for it? I understand venting in all, but for every news article? Just makes you

With that said, it's Ninja Turtles, does it look dumb? Yes, but it's Ninja Turtles, i'm not expecting a Christopher Nolan esque type of film or one that's heavy on the drama. Why, Cause it's fuckin ninja turtles and the movie seems to be taking more of a 90s cartoon route than it's predecessors. Sure it looks stupid, but enjoyable none the less. At best it'll be probably as corny as TMNT 2 Secret of the Ooze, at worst, it'll be another TMNT 3, which would be a laughably terrible film, but one that's funny none the less.

Too bad the film is still going to suck and people who go see it are going to be surprised that it sucks even though they know it would suck. Just like how they majority went to go see Transformers 4 and were surprised at how terrible the film was.

It's pretty sad that just because Bay has his name attached to it, whatever is wrong is solely on him. He's Producer, the money guy, not the Director. Is this movie what I want it to be, no, and never will be. If I need to go to nostalgia land, I'll watch my dvds, until then I plan on fully enjoying this movie, hopefully.
TMNT has had plenty of iterations, what's one more. Honestly, I am over the look of the turtles, I kinda like it enough to not care that they have clothes. Their faces also

So, instead of focusing on "it's not the cartoon" cause IT WON'T BE, or that Bay is the Producer, maybe go in with an open mind instead. If you go in hating it, you are certainly gonna hate it no matter what.

Diggin it

A lot of ppl are complaining about how the turtles look too different from the comics/cartoons. 1 They can't stay the same forever and 2. Batman, "Robin", the Joker, Catwoman and Bane all looked different and everyone talked about how awesome they all looked. Since Im on the topic of Nolan, everyone talked about how awesome Man of Steel was going to be because he was producer. Then when it disappointed, the references towards Nolan stopped. The point being that the producer only has some say in
