Gugino as Jupiter

From WATCHMEN, AICN have a beautiful picture of Carla Gugino as… well… I’ll let artist James Jean tell it:

“It’s a Vargas-esque portrait of Carla Gugino as Sally Jupiter. I worked with the great Alex McDowell on the piece. They told me the piece would play a role in introducing Sally Jupiter in the film — hopefully it doesn’t end up on the cutting room floor!”

Man alive this film is taking things seriously. You can say what you will about Zack Snyder, but the kid can take comic-book material and give the fans what they want. I heard after WATCHMEN he might be adapting some little-known graphic novel called “Perpetually Naked Girl”, starring Scarlett Johansson. I’ll let you know when I hear more!
