Joseph Gordon-Levitt discusses a future beyond The Dark Knight Rises (spoilers)

For those you who have not seen THE DARK KNIGHT RISES (I'm sure there are a few of you left out there), I ask that you please close the tab or find another article to read. Most of the information for this post will be contained within the video below. Again, there are massive spoilers.
Moving on, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was on Jimmy Kimmel last night, and let's just say Kimmel did not spare any punches. He asked the questions that you want answered. How were they answered by Gordon-Levitt? Eh, he did his best. When it all comes down to it, no one except the studio knows where Batman is headed. Nolan says that he's done with the caped crusader.
Personally, I'd like to see more from the Bats universe, granted someone decent takes it on. There are other characters and other stories to explore.
Check it out below.

BATMAN AND ROBIN, IT'S SO OBVIOUS
No, the trilogy is over. Its complete. Leave it be.
Someone pointed out Nolan's 'Robin' is actually an amalgam of the first three Robins. Dick Grayson ('police officer' as his day job, eventually becomes Batman) Jason Todd (angry, loses mother as a young age, corrupt father, grows up in an orphanage) and Tim Drake (talented detective who deduces Batman's identity as Bruce Wayne.)
Even his name is something of an amalgam of Jason Todd and Tim Drake.

The Nolanverse is actually chock-full of these amalgam and 'all-but-name' characters. R'as Al Ghul is actually the joining of R'as with Henri Ducard, Bruce Wayne's detective mentor. 'Flass' from Batman Begins has elements of Bullock in him. Coleman Reese is an almost blatant homage to The Riddler. And its my own little theory that William Fichtner's bank manager was an easter egg nod towards The Penguin.
