Liam nabs hotties

Liam Neeson, January Jones and Diane Kruger have all signed on to star in the upcoming thriller UNKNOWN WHITE MALE for Warner Bros. The good news? It's a promising premise that follows a man who slowly begins to realize that someone else has assumed his identity. The bad news? It's being produced by Dark Castle, Joel Silver's company that has turned out some B-grade schlock over the years. The good news? It's being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, who last directed ORPHAN, one of the few (only?) Dark Castle thrillers I've actually enjoyed.

The film will follow Neeson as he tries to convince his wife and finds the key to his identity in a young woman. But get this. Kruger isn't the wife and Jones isn't the young woman. Jones is the wife and Kruger plays...a cab driver? Yup. Does that mean the "young woman" role has yet to be cast? Filming on WHITE MALE is expected to begin this January (pun?) after Neeson wraps on A-TEAM.

Extra Tidbit: Jones was named for a character in "Once Is Not Enough."
