Some might say that director McG delivered some serious damage to the future of mankind with TERMINATOR SALVATION. Is New York City his next destination set for destruction?

McG is set to direct THIS MEANS WAR, a romantic action-comedy (??) starring Reese Witherspoon and "It Guy" (deservedly) Bradley Cooper, plus another yet-to-be-named high-profile dude.

The story revolves around "two best friends, inseparable since childhood, who fall in love with the same woman (Witherspoon). The men's bond disintegrates, and their ensuing battle escalates to mammoth proportions."

Apparently this results in the devastation of Manhattan, but don't worry - the annihilation of a major metropolis is played for laughs. Like in "Tom & Jerry" or 2012. Plus, it's at Fox! So it's sure to be awesome.

Extra Tidbit: The studio has reportedly been trying to get this project going for over a decade, with people like Gore Verbinski and Martin Lawrence previously involved.

Sounds good
The premise sounds interesting and I am a huge fan of Cooper, so I will see anything with him in it

I think this kind of project is better suited to McG than Terminator was. I had fun with the first Charlie's Angels but can't decide if they just gave him too much freedom on the second one or if the studio just wanted more stupidity on the screen. Either way he makes a fun movie, albeit not a deep movie. This doesn't sound like a chasm of a movie.
