Hey, wasn’t Billy Bob Thornton kind of an A-list actor for a while there? And Seann William Scott seems to have basically disappeared after the DUKES OF HAZZARD remake. But they’re both back for a comedy called MR. WOODCOCK, which could end up being awful but at least demands respect for that title.
The movie stars Scott as a writer who returns to his hometown to find his mom (Susan Sarandon) romantically involved with his old high school gym teacher (Thornton). I bet at least one person gets hit in the scrotum in the events that follow, and to much hilarity.
The movie arrives in September, and now has a MySpace presence where you can enter a “School Spirit” contest and engage in midget wrestling. Yes, I mean it. See for yourself RIGHT HERE.
