New international trailer and Comic-Con poster for Vin Diesel’s Riddick

Vin Diesel has a lot of haters but to me the dude is just too nice to dislike. He's very open with his fans and in general seems to be a decent, friendly person. Richard B. Riddick isn't friendly at all but that character is a big reason why Diesel gets a lot of love from some film geeks. RIDDICK is the third live-action movie in the series and an international trailer has been released containing previously unseen footage. New stuff includes more shots of the creatures lurking around the planet Riddick is stuck on and a scene showing off a nifty trick the character can do with his feet and a sword.

Vin Diesel also released a new poster that will be at this year's Comic-Con for RIDDICK on his Facebook page. Riddick looks pretty bad ass in black and red but really when doesn't he look like he's ready to curb stomp some poor bastard?

While I didn't particularly care for THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK I do think the new movie will be a fun ride. It's been mentioned before that RIDDICK looks smaller and personal like the original film and I agree. A lot of fans are glad Diesel has created this whole little universe and history for Riddick but the character needs to get back to doing what he does best: ruining the lives of mercenaries and annihilating alien life.

Starring Vin Diesel, Karl Urban, Dave Bautista and Bokeem Woodbine and directed by David Twohy, RIDDICK hits theaters on September 6th, 2013.
