New poster for Cary Fukunaga’s Jane Eyre adaptation shows its Fassbendery face

A pretty classy poster has just been released by Focus Features for the adaptation of Charlotte Brontë’s literary classic JANE EYRE, director Cary Fukunaga’s follow-up to last year’s incredible SIN NOMBRE. This alone would make it something to look forward to, but it also features a strong cast to boot with Mia Wasikowska (ALICE IN WONDERLAND) in the title role and Michael Fassbender (A DANGEROUS METHOD) as leading man ‘Rochester’ (both adorning the poster below). The film also stars Jamie Bell, Judi Dench, Sally Hawkins, Tamzin Merchant, and Imogen Poots.

JANE EYRE is scheduled to open March 11, 2011.

As Jane reflects upon her past and recovers her natural curiosity, she will return to Mr. Rochester – and the terrible secret that he is hiding…
