No, MAGIC MIKE is not a film about our beloved Mike Sampson. It is actually about the stripping past of a young male by the name of Channing Tatum. In this journey of g-strings and sweaty dollar bills, we learn the struggles and adversity that Tatum had to face in those clubs that smelled of baby oil with a hint of shame.
The film already boasts a cast of muscle bound men like Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matthew Bomer, and Joe Manganiello. Now a female has joined the ranks.
Olivia Munn will play Tatum’s love interest. Tatum stars as an ex-stripper showing an up-and-comer (Pettyfer) the ropes. The role that Munn is taking on was originally meant for Jessica Biel. No reason was given as to why she passed on the project.
