Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will take part in James Wan's The Conjuring

The last "horror" film I enjoyed was James Wan's INSIDIOUS. It wasn't completely perfect but it was a way better effort than most are doing in the genre these days.

Next up for Wan is THE CONJURING. The film will focus on, "a husband and wife team of demonologists and psychic investigators who enter the most horrifying case of their career, spirits in a Rhode Island farmhouse."

Currently Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are in negotiations to take on the husband and wife roles. The story is taken from the real life experiences of the Perron family and their ordeals in the 1970s. When the idea was scooped up, so were the life rights to the Perron family and the paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

The film will shoot this March in North Carolina.

"Insidious" was genuinely creepy, and Wan has a great style. I am excited for this!

I loved and was surprised by Insidious and as much as I detest Ed and Lorraine Warren I'm so looking forward to this flick.

Together, Leigh Whannell and James Wan ripped off "SAW". The success of Saw gave both of them the opportunity to continue working in Hollywood. I read later in 2005 that Leigh and James may of came to a settlement with the writer and director "Greg Arce". Before you rage on me, the original movie was called "Den" and it aired at some film festivals around 2001 in which Leigh Whannel and James Wan attended. Aside from that, I still dug "Insidious" as it was well-done and very cost effective. It

I guess in the end, Hollywood needed them.

I dug Insidious enough, aside from the Marilyn Manson music video of an ending, but if he can show to same restraint, I'm down....

Insidious was brilliant and truly terrifying. The best horror movie I have seen in years. Especially with that shocking ending.

I would love to see another movie like Insidious with the same great horror quality.

"Insidious" was one of the very, very few horror movies that I enjoyed in recent years. So I'm game for another one in that similar vein.
