Ever since Sacha Baron Cohen stuck is silky smooth tushy in Eminem’s face at the 2009 MTV MOVIE AWARDS, people haven’t been able to stop speculating about whether or not Em was in on the gag or not. Well it’s been almost a week since the watercooler moment, and we’ve since come to learn that the event was in fact planned, but to what extent Eminem was in on it, we did not know. Until now. Here’s what the misanthropic rapper had to say:
Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I’m a big fan of his work, so I agreed to get involved with the gag. I’m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it.
He went on to say that after leaving the awards, he went to his hotel room and laughed for three hours. What I want to know is how he will ever live with himself after missing TWILIGHT win best picture. Eminem, you sorry, sorry man.
