Six new Avatar clips! | Movie News

In just about 10 hours I'll be sitting in a NYC theater with my 3D glasses on as AVATAR finally unspools in front of me. Sadly I'm forbidden from sharing my thoughts on the film with you until the 18th. But after all the hype and hoopla I'm more curious than anything else. I suppose I'm a little excited but I'm not one of the lovers or one of the haters. I'm just interested and I'll reserve judgment until I've seen the whole thing.

If you feel like you need a little convincing, we've posted six new clips from the film in JoBlo Video. Obviously seeing these on the web will be a much different experience than seeing it in IMAX 3D but imagine it much bigger and flying at your face. There's one of the clips below and then you can click here to view the rest of the cilps as well as our other AVATAR videos. What do you think?

I really did not see this one coming at all. Apparently, there was a screening yesterday for the movie and it got so many positive reviews from the HFPA, that it might be considered a golden globe nomination for drama and for other categories. Might not be true but just take a look here:

The more I see the Na'vi the more I think their design is terrible. Well.. maybe just the faces. They're just a bit too human, and the Jake one has a really terrible smile. Maybe it's just from a loss of information in the streamed video but there's something weird about them.
