Streep likes Nancy

Meryl Streep is inching closer to starring in Nancy Meyers’ (SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE, THE HOLIDAY) upcoming as yet untitled romantic comedy. In the film, Streep will apparently be involved in a love triangle with two sure to be man cakes but they’ve yet to be cast. Streep will also undoubtedly be a spectacularly successful something or other who’ll end up realizing she just needs to love herself to be truly happy. Or something. Production is expected to begin in February. Streep is currently paying tribute to Abba in the musical MAMMA MIA! and can next be seen in the drama DOUBT and the drama JULIE & JULIA. She’ll also be lending her voice to the Wes Anderson directed, Roald Dahl adapted, stop motion animated film THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX.
